Brief:
Design a coffee shop interior, to complement the office park in which it's located. Make sure the interior has an inside-out feel.
The coffee shop is located in a Green Star Rated Knightsbridge Office Park, in Bryanston.
The Process:
This was a new building, and we had the pleasure of designing all the finishes, fittings and furniture from the ceiling, walls to floors. We also designed the signage for the space.
To bring the outside-in, we used natural products - wood textured flooring, marble-esque Caesarstone countertops, added greenery in the form of small srubs in concrete planters. All that was accompanied by having greatest amount of natural light flooding the space. This enabled us create a space that connects people a little bit with nature.
