Meet Our Founder - Kgomotso
MoTSO DeSIGNED is a female-led brand, founded in 2016 by Kgomotso.
Kgomotso afirms the sophistication of African art and design, advocating for its integration into modern living and working spaces.
A former scientist, Kgomotso wanted to realise her dream of transforming living spaces, she quit her job as a microbiologist to pursue studies in art and design, before opening the design studio.
As Steve Jobs eloquently put it, "Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels..." Motso embraces this philosophy wholeheartedly, for it resonates with her spirit. Just like the visionaries who have forever altered the course of history, she sees potential where others see limitations.
Kgomotso revels in disrupting norms and challenging the mundane, because being extraordinary lies in pushing boundaries and transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
